Heena Sidhu is that overachieving friend in the group that our parents would have loved for us to spend time with so that some of her enterprising spirit rubbed off on us. While some of us were scrambling to meet deadlines and festering in goblin mode during the lockdown, this Lodha Belmondo resident did a course in interior design and crafted her Pune villa into a photoshoot-worthy oasis.
It’s not the only win under her belt. The qualified dental surgeon has won medals as a pistol shooter, representing the country at the Commonwealth games, Asian games and Asian championships.

After a day at the shooting range, I’m tired, I want to go back home and my home becomes my sanctuary.”

That could be hosting parties with her husband and creating signature drinks for their guests. “We have a little notebook where we put down the recipes of our experiments and give them funny names.” Or soaking up the sun with her babies on the private lawn on a warm day with a gently blowing breeze, daydreaming while gazing out the window at the beautiful view of a sprawling golf course or just dancing around the house like no one is watching. We could all do well with a little shimmy to decompress after a hectic day.
