What’s her secret to surviving a night in heels?
Scroll through bridal boards on Pinterest and you’ll probably spot the work of associate fashion director at Vogue India, Priyanka Kapadia. The celebrity stylist’s artistry can kick your fashion FOMO into high gear — she’s dressed stars from Sonam Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan to Tweak India founder, Twinkle Khanna.
Her secret skill, you might notice, is mixing affordable high street finds with ecstatically intricate Indian couture or French designers. And judging by her Instagram feed, she understands the value of a gorgeous lehenga moment.

What’s your trick for surviving a night in high heels?
Don’t wear them. But jokes apart, there are so many more options — block heels, mules, kitten heels, platform sneakers. Identify a heel and shoe style that works without you needing to spend most of your night leaning on a wall or looking for the first free seat available.

I personally opt for mid-heel sandals with really minimal delicate straps that lengthen the legs from brands like The Row, Rejina Pyo or Saint Laurent. Or, you could go for an architectural block heel from Jacquemes or Cult Gaia.

Add a fanny pack and a pair of hoops to elevate any outfit And if something isn’t fitting right — just knot it up to add shape. It can be at the bottom of a long slip dress or just a simple tank top.
What would you steal from your husband’s closet and how would you wear it?
His hoodies and sweatshirts. I’d pair them with bike shorts, a fanny pack and slides.

Give it a sophisticated touch by pairing it with grey, nude or beige separates. My favourite combination is a neon tank top or T-shirt with khaki cargo or high-waisted trousers.
