The Dyson Airwrap Styler Smooth + Control appeals to the multitasker in me as it dries and styles at the same time and in 15 minutes, my hair is all done. It uses air rather than heat and seems to be a lot less damaging than a regular blowout which often heats hair to temperatures more suitable for frying jalebis. Be warned, the first time you try it, you will feel like there is a poltergeist lurking around because you will see strands of hair, lifting and then wrapping around the barrel of their own accord. A hair-raising experience indeed.

Once I realised that Vim bar was not the only thing cleaning out the ubiquitous school tiffin box and it is greatly aided by mothers like me who absentmindedly put all the leftover crusts and crumbs into our mouths, I started carrying a healthy, yummy snack of my own during school pick-ups. The spin in my cycle and the spring in the step of my StairMaster, watching Workin’ Moms makes my exercise regimen a lot less tedious. It’s messy, politically incorrect but you will find yourself identifying with each of the four protagonists. These are women spread across the diversity spectrum with one thing in common—they are all new moms. Workin’ Moms will cause hysterical laughter, could possibly induce sobs and if you watch it long enough, it could even make your breasts leak in sympathetic lactation.
