The anti-acne 5 minute facial that needs just two ingredients
You’ll smell amazing too
Landlords who end up at your doorstep right when they shouldn’t, and acne that makes an appearance the night before a big event are the reasons why most adults hate surprises. The former can be dealt with tanks to the skills you picked up in drama club, the latter however is a bigger obstacle. It’s alarming to see how much damage a tiny pimple can cause – think tiny tubes of irrationally overpriced ointments or that not-so-flattering impromptu fringe to conceal the little devil.
If we made money for every time we spotted a pimple, we’d all be millionaires with Swiss bank accounts by now. Acne is the single most rampant skin issue that wreaks havoc on a daily basis. But you definitely don’t need to live with this skin devil. Try one of our DIY 5 Minute Facials instead. It does the job and is easy on the pocket too. All you need is a few sprigs of pudina and honey. The honey has anti-bacterial properties and deep-cleans the face. Mint, on the other hand, has salicylic acid and vitamin A, which help combat acne.
Ingredients
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp mint leaf paste (take a fistful of mint leaves and grind them in a food processor till you have a thick paste with even consistency)
Application
- Use a bowl to combine equal quantities of honey and mint paste.
- Use your fingers to apply the thick paste all over your face and neck.
- Leave it on for about four minutes.
- Wash it off with cold water.
