This poignant biographical film is based on the life of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, played by Rajkummar Rao, and traces his journey from childhood to becoming a successful entrepreneur who provides jobs to differently-abled individuals. The movie highlights the various turning points that were crucial to his personal struggle, from legally fighting for his right to study science to attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as their first visually impaired international student, and eventually returning to India to start his own business. She finds herself entangled in a riveting chase that reveals deep-seated issues of caste and sexism. We see Bhaati rebelling against orthodox and oppressive beliefs that plague her village, prioritising her duty over finding an ‘eligible groom’, and coping with the biases attached to her gender and caste. Adulting brings independence, but no one mentioned that it also comes with a huge fear of failure, which can feel like you’re being crushed by a hydraulic press like in those viral ASRMR videos. But if there’s one person you can draw inspiration from during tough times, it’s Manoj Kumar Sharma. This Vikrant Massey-starrer is a biographical drama inspired by Sharma’s real-life attempts to clear his UPSC exams and become an IPS officer, while battling the odds and facing poverty and social challenges. Despite failing at different stages in multiple attempts, Sharma remains persistent and focused on his goals, undaunted by failure. A testament to commitment and resilience, this is a motivating watch for UPSC aspirants and students everywhere.

‘Your mind is your only limitation’ rings true in this Tamil romantic drama, which revolves around three couples seeking freedom from their marital issues. Mithra, a marriage counsellor and psychologist, struggles with emotional intimacy and communication in her own marriage while counselling two couples on issues like fading love, constant friction and unhappiness. As Mithra guides her clients towards possible solutions, she is forced to confront her own mental barriers.
